John is not half advertiser - could not be farther from the truth. He does this because he loves it. This can be clearly seen:
Pursuit of doctors offices and health care facilities to perform paddle x rays, the fact that he got a quote for a ball cannon setup to simulate the new COR testing, and his collaboration with Briffidi developers to create a new hand speed index. These are things that no other reviewers do and result in him pioneering the space. The fact that his reviews are the most comprehensive and insightful, by far, means that people put stock in to what he says. Yes, this esteem could lead to paddle sales. We wouldn’t want consumer reports to shut down because their reviews drive sales. Since break in is something that is unique to each paddle model and sometimes each specific paddle, we would never want him to wait until a paddle is “fully broken in” to conduct a review. The paddle also may not “break in” in a linear fashion. Should he just wait for 6 months after playing with a paddle to be sure no break in occurs? Absolutely not, the people want to know what Kew thinks because he’s the best at this. Keep doing you John, thanks for all your work.

I love all this new technology. It’s changing so fast. But I don’t have the money to drop $200 to have the latest and greatest knowing it will wear out. I’m close to funding a decent $100 paddle and just replacing it often.

I've owned 16 different pickelball paddles and I have to say the Pickleball Apes Pulse V Paddles is the best paddle I have ever used, hands down. This thing does absolutley everything well.
