I've owned 16 different pickelball paddles and I have to say the Pickleball Apes Pulse V Paddles is the best paddle I have ever used, hands down. This thing does absolutley everything well.

Interesting to hear your experience from John Kew's in his review today where John places it in a power category, just lower than the top tier power paddles such as the Ripple, Gearbox, etc. And with that break-in period that John discusses where the paddle gets hotter over time, that just makes it better IMO. I play the hybrid shape but have been seeing a lot of comments from people who really enjoy the V with its insane twist weight so I'm trying both. Gotta love their free 30-day trial program!

The S is appealing because of its shape, I use a 6.0 DBD. What differences would you note between the 2? If the sweet spot is larger, I get more baseline/serve power, but still have the same or better control as the DBD…the Pulse S hybrid might be the real deal for me and my play style

My V just arrived. The grit feels very grabby. Will let you know how it plays for me. Replacing a Volair Mach 2 Forza 14mm. I wanted more power with less effort.
Also the 4 1/4 grip didn’t seem too big for me- but I do have some overgrips to replace the standard grip if needed.

I enjoyed the 16 mm paddle as a doubled paddle. as you know I’m a hybrid player that prefers 14 mm just because it feels most comfortable to me. I’m just sad that the nasty Nelson didn’t bounce off the top of your head 😂
