Here’s some things to note.
If you’re someone who is not very good at builds and only plays from time to time it’s a very good setting to have on.

If you play builds often against decent players it will hurt you a lot more since you miss out on important edits and your crosshair placement won’t be accurate.

I'm playing on switch, I think it is very helpful to people who can't edit, and if you can't edit on your platform, I tried it, and I saw a problem with walls edit, I found out that I'm editing walls faster then with simple edit but it still very helpful.

I mean not everyone can afford a $2000 gaming pc and spend every waking moment playing video games so having balance in Fortnite is actually exciting and now instead of muscle memory being telling for a victory people can use their brain power instead. Builds were never meant to become this complicated in the first place.
