Couple things to clarify. The Tesla didn’t need a new drive unit each year. It had 2 replaced total. Two, why shouldn’t I get a hellcat? You don’t want to see me happy???

It would be an honor to work for Uncle Rich. As long as I get my own Cyber Quad. Who wouldnt wanna chill with him and Stevon?

Right to repair is so important to the consumer. Not being even given the choice to have your device repaired by a 3rd party is not only wrong its very un American. 50 years ago we fixed almost everything, now we just throw it away.

Congrats bro. I think thats pretty cool that your business is doing a couple EV conversions for Robert Downey Jr. Hopefully building these cars for someone as famous as he is will help your business grow.

27:00 Ayy thanks for the shoutout Rich! NY just passed their digital Right to Repair bill, and we're this || close to passing ours in MA! I encourage all my MA homies to bug your Senator with a quick 2 second email asking them to pass ours. We should have the Right to Repair EVERYTHING!

Over here in Europe you can get a brand new air suspension kit (front and rear) for about 2300 USD. The brand is Grinds from Germany and they do sell in the US as well.

Apple offsets the waste from throwing away repairable devices by not giving you a charger when you buy the new one, because they care.

After you described the "low" cost of ownership of the Tesla I'm glad I own a Toyota. Replaced a 180 dollar starter in 310000 miles, other than tires brakes and oil (and two timing belts).

If you love old simple vehicles…when you’re done with RDJ, I have a refurbished 1995 4x4 Tintop Geo Tracker to electrify. Weighs nothing, has 90 horses. It’s a legend here in Los Angeles. It’s like like a street legal side by side.

Rich is a hotrodder at heart. At some point, he always reverts back to his need for raw American horsepower. It's not pretty and a little rough around the edges, but you have to have it.

I've been watching since the forum days where Rich's avatar was... a middle aged European. Much of the content I don't watch all the way through, but I've enjoyed watching how Rich has changed his life, his job(s), how his family has adapted... Hopefully everything goes for another 10 years without a problem.

I've put way less money into my 99 Jeep Cherokee in 14 years and just over 100k miles. That includes new paint and suspension and a custom exhaust. Of course, needing fuel vs charging I must have paid more.

“Ill sign a waiver” Rich has that f list celebrity status where he can get tow truck to do sketchy stuff but he cant get a dealership to fix one of his cars

After the project is finished, I would love to see a video with Robert Downey Jr.!

That's insane that you had to replace EIGHT door handles

Except on the 90s Camrys that have plastic door handles that shatter in the sun after 20 years, I've never seen that happen. And expensive tesla door handles with the motors and all...

14:25 Nitto Neo Gen tires are designed to reduce that inside wear. My E30's have the same issue from factory camber, and these tires reduced wear dramatically. Other manufacturers came out with a similar solution, but their prices are ridiculous.
