Thank you for this clear explanation of how CPT can work with a client. I’m a social work intern but I’m doing a presentation on CPT for use with veterans who are suffering with PTSD and this is extremely helpful!

The people who came up with this therapy have obviously never suffered from ptsd. It’s just insulting.

Omg just another one of the 193729382939929383 psychologist saying the same stuff...."CPT"...why u have to give a different name to something that exists since 70' as a treatment model...why, why, why!!!! I'm a psychologist student and I studied all of these stuff with lot of CBT's authors...why u have to give a new name to something that is not
