this video really helps. I like my bathroom and kitchen to be REALLY clean and I've been using cleaners with bleach. I hate how I feel after cleaning from the fumes and have to open windows to vent out the odor. I will be using this diy cleaner from now on. thank you Dr Axe and Jordan!

If the chemicals that make up essential oils were listed on the ingredient label, consumers would see clearly whats in them. Some of these such as Melaleuca oil has 4 red warning triangles on Pubchem. The vinegar (acetic acid) has 2 red warning triangles. These are not non toxic. I agree conventional cleansers can be very bad, but just because essential oils are derived from a natural source does not mean they are non toxic.

This is more like saving £1 a week on cleaning agents and is a healthy way of doing it. Plus it's much nicer to breath in natural healthy products that have wonderful fragrance thank you for the tips. I been making my own for a while from water and essential oils, but never thought to add white vinegar as well.

This asthmatic switched long ago to vinegar and baking soda which seem to take care of most anything. A plant based diet helps as well.

Hi, it's always said to put these types of cleaners in class bottles and not plastic. Won't the oils eat through the plastic sprayer part that sits down in the liquid?

I usually mix water and 90% isopropyl alcohol as a general disinfectant and counter top cleaner.I don't know how it would affect certain surfaces.
