Gaming at 4K with the RTX 4070?

I have a 4070 and a 4K monitor, and it works great for most games, newer ones work fine with DLSS which let's be honest looks the same anyway

4070 ti super owner here and most definitely playing in 4k with no problem once or ever. I’m pairing it with a very beefy cpu ryzen 9 9900x and 64gb of ram. It doesn’t even flinch.

Isn't DLSS Quality at 4K just 1440p upscaled? Meaning, if it runs 1440p native fast enough for your liking, it should be nearly the same at 4K

I use the 4070super for 1440p and it’s perfect for me. The games I play I can get 200fps some even 240

I have it. I play ALL games in 4K ultra settings. Most get around 60 fps which is good. Playing in 1440 only gets me about 20 more fps at half the resolution. Definitely a 4k card.

My 2080ti plays 4k at 30fps amd 1440 120fps if a card 2 gens newer wont then what's the point?

Can you play games in 4K? Yes.
Can you play modern games (as in games from 4 years ago or newer) in 4K at over 60 FPS? That's a different question

I have a 4070ti with a ryzen 7 7700x and it plays 4k 60-150 on my 34" curved monitor no problem and 1440 above that.
