Southwest Boeing 737-8H4 (N8554X) performing flight SWA147 from Nashville to LaGuardia was on the second attempt to land when the aircraft suddenly deviated to the right of the approach path coming dangerously close to the control Tower at around 150-200 feet height.

I worked in a high rise near LAX. The planes took off so they were over the Pacific Ocean. One day a plane did a u turn and headed back to the airport. Went right past my office window on the 14th floor. Crazy sight, especially after 9/11.

This happened at LaGuardia Airport in New York City I think btw

The scariest is that even after ATC told him to go around and to climb with that excited voice, the pilot still had no clue what was going wrong. Wow. That is scary.
