And if you find giving a little patience to take time to understand your friends situation is too difficult or annoying. Don’t be our friend

I love things like this. No one in my family cares enough to help me so I look to these things to learn how to best help myself. I appreciate it.

#10 should have an asterisk: you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. 💔

OK I get most of these but the don't walk on egg shells around them. How can I do that when part of my cptsd has me doing that around everyone anyways? I am looking for some effective ways to notice when my partner is about to head down the cptsd rabbit hole. If that makes any sense. I have pinpointed where a lot of my cptsd stems from so I am able to notice when I am about to. But I can't tell when she is about to. Is there a way to notice it or can I even prevent it when she doesn't notice herself???

How in the world can you do Number 6 and Number 7? You cannot do both. You talk to them as you would anyone else without walking on eggshells and that triggers them. What then?! I'm sick of this cycle! This person needs to open up to me. I can't read minds.
