There are more vaccine breakthrough cases than we think, so what does that mean? Moderna vs Pfizer waning immunity, boosters for the elderly, and more.

The CDC and the rest of government/public health organizations have done an abysmal job of communicating effectively to the American community.

No, they’re not as effective because the people who’re banking on them to work took advantage of the donuts 🍩, French fries 🍟 and beer.

This public health problem will not go away until we start addressing real health.

It is apparent that we will have to learn to live with this so why aren’t we putting more effort into therapeutic protocols and educating people on how to maximize their immune system? Are you going to have a broccoli or Cheeto immune system?

I told my husband I was waiting until I heard truth. Thank-you so much for your honesty, your humility and the respect you communicate towards those of us who are looking for honest, straightforward, reasonable communication regarding all of this. You're pushing me over the edge...maybe I just need to watch one more video! Thank you!

As a vaccine hesitant person who finally came around to getting stuck, I really appreciate your stance that people ought to be trusted to make their own choices based on their own risk assessments. My hesitance was partly born from caution about something new and apparently not robustly tested. But mostly, I resisted because I distrust the government to do anything with competence. I resisted because a lot of authority figures were declaring they knew with certainty what was going on and how to fix it. I resisted because authoritarian commentary on the subject evokes a naturally resistant response. I resisted because it is politicized. I resisted because many of these decisions are motivated by fear, and that fear caused friends and families and communities to tear themselves apart with self-righteous anger. Were it not for these factors, I would have come around much sooner, as I'm all for vaccines in general (experimental ones not withstanding). It's anecdotal obviously, but I'm proof that flirting with mandates and trying to shame people into getting the vaccine, and pretending that you have all the answers will only push people away from that decision.

I’m wondering how you can say unvaccinated people spread the delta variant. That to me doesn’t make sense…. All people unvaccinated and vaccinated can spread all variants.

The public relations problem is that everything has become so politicized, manipulated and propaganda that nothing can be believed.

If the CDC and the government spoke about it like this from the beginning, we probably wouldn't be in as much of a mess as we are now.

I’m a physician and was studying molecular biology and immunology in undergrad and grad school and thoroughly enjoyed this. Very informative and positive in messaging. Great information delivered in a way that is easy to process and entertaining as well. Great content, well done!

I’ve studied health and nutrition most of my life. I appreciate having the conversation. I taught anatomy and physiology for years.

I’ve been vaccinated because it was mandated. I work in a hospital and am a medical professional. If the jab wasn’t mandated, I would have politely declined.

I will never believe that the best way to be healthy is to inject oneself with chemicals over and over again. Good health takes work… healthy diet, lowering stress, sunshine, excellent relationships, avoiding toxins…

I’m afraid we have lost our way.

The big money corporations would have us all believe that we will die if we don’t get the jab. It is one tool … but there are many ways to decrease your risk of hospitalizations. Sadly, we can only discuss one way…

Thank you for your compassionate approach.

I believe mandates are a horriffic act of medical malfeasance and have nothing to do with human health.

Why is no one talking about getting in shape and eating healthy?! That's how we save the 400k lives. 💯

Please do a video on adverse reactions to the vax...how many deaths, how many hospitalizations, how many long term effects, miscarriage, sterility?? Some reported, how many not reported?? Please show these numbers and then let people decide. Also how are these variants determined...a new test? Also rise in cases determined by same unreliable PCR test??? Or is there a new test????

Finally someone who’s not pushing some underlying motive and just educating people thank you a true rarity in this insane world

I'm a 62 y/o woman with hypertension, diabetes and obesity. I finally decided to get the vaccine about 6 weeks ago. Two days before I was supposed to go back for the second injection, I developed Covid. I was a little scared but the disease was not severe and I made it through by treating myself at home. I firmly believe that getting the first injection of the vaccine saved me. I'm going to get my second injection next week. And you can bet your sweet ass that I will continue with boosters when my doctor advises me too. Thanks for all the info, Doctor. I believe you're helping many people by explaining what we need to do to try to control this virus.

People who are unvaccinated are not asking for the vaccinated do do anything but leave them alone

“How much do we change our policy to accommodate the unvaccinated?” The answer is whatever it takes to ensure the pharmaceutical companies make as much profit as possible.

You should do a quick video on the history of pandemics. People most often compare Covid to Spanish flu. But what about Russian flu? Asian flu? Hong Kong flu? Why always compare it to the worst case scenario and at a time when we didn't have antibiotics to fight bacterial pneumonia? Context matters.

"people who tend to enroll in those trials tend to be more health conscious." this makes it sound like a happenstance. No. the drug companies select people who are young and health for trials. For example 80% of the people who get prescribed anitdepressants would not have been accepted into the trials that showed they were effective. There are many reasons why drug companies choose people who are young and healthy for trials some very reasonable. But emphatically it is no accident. As a consequence the actual efficancy is much less impressive and the side effects are much more concerning.
