Review about Quixel Megascans Trees for Unreal Engine, UE4 have photorealistc tree for free, the special news are they updated IMPOSTORS MATERIAL so now is 100% working in UE4 and UE5!
Impostors looks good? i think they've changed the material of impostors but they create the impostors, without care about base color, specular or roughness so the impostors looks "default", i will bring more tutorials about how to create impostors for this trees soon.
All realistic tree of UE4 looks very dense in Wireframes and very bad optimized for LOD transition, i will redo all lods soon so the trees will be more optimized for realtime games!
This pack is awesome and the Foliage Master Materials will be my Material for my own SpeedTree models to UE5 & ue4.
