They have such a contrast of depth to their thinking. Jordan is trying to make very deep analysis of certain topics, while Theo is just in a wild ride of letting every thing Jordan says, remind him of simple things or previous events. Such a genuinely humorous exchange.

The fact that this even happened is a testament to Jordan’s willingness to engage with people outside of his comfort zone. It shows both a compassion and empathy not normally seen in either academia or his professional community when they’re not getting paid or marketing. While Jordan does get marketing value, he’s independently popular.

Jordan is from the middle-of-nowhere Alberta. Theo is from rural Louisiana. The humour one picks up in these places and the personalities you meet there are similar, which is why I think Jordan relates to Theo’s humour so much. Love to see it

I'm only an occasional listener of Theo's podcast but if there's only thing I really appreciate about him is how he is able to make people feel comfortable. It lets you see a side of his guests you usually don't see elsewhere.
