That's so true. I wanted to change my college in second year so I applied for admission in S.P college in Pune.
This college is considered as not a prestigious but a better college then others but when I got there, I saw their crowd...then met with the professors and all my interest faded away.
Leter I talked to some students from the college and got to know about the overall environment. I still can't believe that this is the same college I once heard about. I didn't want to take any chance so I dropped the plan to go there even when I got the seat.
But even today the college is a well known one in the city.
( If someone from SP gets hurt pls forgive me for the rudeness but because I come from Fergusson, I think I judge strictly)

In this regard I want to say- I have done my mbbs from one of the most reputed college in kolkata. My state rank was 143. After completing mbbs almost all of us are searching for jobs but there is no permanent job anywhere. All jobs are contractual. This happend because of so many private colleges and students doing mbbs form foreign. So the value of degree is gone. If anyone reading this all I want to say is do your research befor doing MBBS.
