That's why I make my own "java" using a Bodum glass pour over coffee maker. Also drinking more herbal teas.

Yeah just makes a lot of sense to bring your own cup. I can't afford to ask them for a stainless steel cup every time I get a cup of coffee. I'm already broke & inflation is crazy. Thanks for the good advice as always! Usually I just make my own at home much cheaper & easier to take on the go. $aves time & money not having to go in or through the drive-thru

Best option is to use a cup that's stainless steel on the outside with a ceramic liner. I do pour over in ceramic, which gets around the plastics in plastic drippers.

The problem with stainless steel mugs, especially if you drink your coffee black, is that it can introduce an actinic taste.

Stainless exterior with a ceramic lining gives you the durability of stainless steel without throwing off the taste of the coffee. There's a lot of good ones on the market.
