HOW TO CHECK AND ADD COOLANT TO YOUR CAR WITHOUT GETTING BURNED!

This is a video tutorial on how to add coolant/antifreeze/radiator fluid to any vehicle with ease! Anyone can do this as long as you follow the instructions and are careful. Never take your coolant system cap off when the vehicle is hot! Always wait until the engine has cooled.

Had been wondering why my reservoir kept going under the fill line. Little did I know once you fill, you have to crank, let it filter into the deeper part of the truck AND continue to top it off. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH 😊❤!!!

One thing this didn't show is putting your heater on full blast too.. that way the coolant gets circulated through the heater core and helps to get air out of the lines.

This is a very helpful video.My question is I used a Turkey Baster that I bought for $1 at Dollar General to make sure that the antifreeze in the radiator is clean.And from using the baster the antifreeze is clean. I want to know can I just use the Turkey Baster without draining all the antifreeze out of the radiator to make sure my antifreeze in the radiator is clean ?

I added water to my coolant for emergency. Can I mix prediluted 56/44 into the coolant tank with water?

If you add coolant while it is off and just add coolant then close and turn in the engine for a while is it okay

Make sure yo use distilled water + antifreeze(coolant) at a 50% ratio. Much easier to buy premix. IT's already mixed at 50 %

Hi, what if you tried the 2nd way, but when I added the funnel to add the coolant, it wouldn't go down. I would add a little at at time and it would overflow.

Why would you add into the radiator cap to the right also? Can you just add to the coolant tank only?

If you run the engine with the cap off can air get pulled in from the pipe at the top of the reservoir
