That legends boxart is one of the best boxart we have ever gotten for any pokemon game, possibly even any spinoffs boxarts. Usually, it is just the mascot legendary and nothing else in the background. The fact that it is a really nice, full on scenery is just really refreshing.

On Sakurai considering retiring. Good. Good for him, having created one of the most influential game franchises of all time and working tirelessly on it for over 20 years, he’s earned it. It’s also good that this probably means there won’t be another smash game, because it feels like the five games are a product of their time and the series should stay that way. Melee will never die, obviously, but every game has its people

In Japan 'New' is a marketing term that is similar to pro or super. In my opinion Super is the perfect translation for the way the Japanese use 'new'. I wish Nintendo of America agreed.

I genuinely love the Legends: Arceus box art. The open world is demonstrated beautifully by the characters facing away from the camera towards the sprawling grasslands and giant volcano, the 2D art itself is gorgeous and a huge step up from the regular "Here's the main legendary" art we've seen four thousand times now, and the mystique with that weird spherical figure hiding behind the clouds near the top of the volcano provides an excellent sense of adventure and discovery. If the tundra had a few more details (maybe the town could take up a small portion of it), then it'd be pretty much perfect in my opinion.
