*Leaders of the USSR*

1. *Vladimir Lenin (1870-1924)*
   - Founder of the Bolshevik Communist party.
   - Led the Russian Revolution of 1917 and established the USSR.
   - Renowned Marxist theoretician and practitioner.


2. *Joseph Stalin (1879-1953)*
   - Successor to Lenin, led the USSR during consolidation (1924-53).
   - Initiated rapid industrialization and collectivization of agriculture.
   - Credited with Soviet victory in WWII but also responsible for the Great Terror.


3. *Nikita Khrushchev (1894-1971)*
   - Led the USSR from 1953 to 1964.
