There are no internationally recognized treaties, policies, agreements or UN resolutions that declare that Taiwan is part of China.

Anthony Blinken has done a tremendous job during his term as State Secretary for the United States. He managed to bring the world together and the world is getting better and better with his presence. I doubt Marco Rubio can match even 10% of what Anthony has done.

Taiwan is everyone's business....but what is happening in the US, is none of anyone's business. Oh...one more thing, what the US is doing in Palestine is none of anyone's business.

I think I have read somewhere that said the following:

Assume that KMT was defeated by the CPC in the civil war, and KMT was unable to flee to Taiwan.
Would US defend Taiwan against the CPC ?

On Dec 23, 1948, the US Secretary of State issued a foreign policy statement to the country, saying: "Taiwan is a part of China from a political, geographical or strategic point of view... Although it has been ruled by Japan for more than 50 years, it once belonged to China in history... Politically or militarily, it is entirely China's responsibility." .... and,

On Jan 5, 1950, POTUS Truman officially announced the "abandonment" policy... He said as usual: "This is to respect China's territorial integrity" because Taiwan has been clearly returned to China by the [Cairo Declaration] and the [Potsdam Declaration] ...

So, I think Blinken was wrong to intervene in China's internal domestic affairs.
