Note to all sparkles out there. Don’t use cable ties inside panels!!! It’s a nightmare when fault finding, and you can do a neat job without them

I'm a German electrician and every time I see a video like this I ask myself why the electrical installations in other countries look so old-fashioned. If we were to build something like this, we would be breaking all the regulations. Apart from that there is no reserve to retrofit something and then it is usually only single-phase...

Doesn’t look very easy. Install EV chargers with RCD for AC and DC and you can skip the whole thing…

What’s that you used to strip the tails with?

Put some mud and paint over the screws before you put the screw caps on just in case those caps fall off. You wouldn't want it to look bad if they do fall off

You know, got to say, DIN rail stuff is great and all, and its great to be able to drop in breakers and such into a much larger control cabinet, but it just feels like american style cabinets and dicsonectsion are so much easier to install.

Cable ties are not allowed in consumer units fuse box's distributions boards see grouping factors thermal etc.

Make it easier: use 16mm tails, not 25 even 100 amp cutout. I cleared this with the niceic tech boys.
