Looks good though I would have tried to run the cable below pebble dash level so it blends in more

Great job, only concern to me is if I was a paying customer I would of insisted the cable was routed under the unmarked rendering in cream.and run along the brick work . End result big black cable not seen on cream wall. But other than that great install.

Kenya's not yet big on EVs but from you and Artisan electric I've learnt a lot to give me base knowledge on this. In preparation for the time the kenyan market will embrace EVs

The install was great. You guys need to relax, I’m sure if he could make it better he would. I personally found his work amazing and would defo hire him.
He knows his stuff so stop hating on him.

Only thing I’d suggest is disconnecting the flat cable from the front portion of the charger while you’re installing it so it’s not dangling from the connections just to save anything getting broken.

Looks a good job though.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video, as someone about to have one installed by my electrician, it’s good to have something like this as a heads up. 👍

agree with the other comments re cable run... should be positioned along the lower brickline plus I'd have used a piece of white conduit to bring it up the wall vertically

That looks really tidy.. I’m having an ev charger fitted in the coming weeks. I hope they do as nice a job as this.

Nice job, how about putting the cable in some white 25mm conduit? Would of blended in like a dream.

Brill, thank you. Still your favourite EV charger?

Good video once again, would it not have been possible to run the cable round the red brick so it was under the rendering and less visible or was the gas box too close to the wall for you to feed the cable behind it cable

Why didn't you run the armoured below the dash render, it would have tucked under there nicely, instead they have a long black washing line right across the white wall.

Good Job geez. I have not installed one yet but I do agree I would have tied in under the wall covering if there was enough cable? that is the only reason not to have done so unless there is another reason but apart from that very neat and nice to see. what benefit to the client is the anti tamper device does it trip the breaker?

Nice job, if I live in a first floor flat, own the leasehold and own the car port below, can one of these run from my flat consumer box to the car port?

Typically the cable to the charger is ran in an aluminium pipe. It makes the cabling abjt better protected.

Why would you choose not to install the ct clamp that comes with the unit 🤷‍♂️ even if its just to future proof it for if they want to use solar features ect later on or incase you got the maximum demand wrong or demand changes if they get new or additional high load appliances

Hi, did you provide a Part P installation Certificate to the customer to satisfy Building control?

Hi mate
Nice set uo there ! Is your rcbo double too switch the neutral or single pole ? Ive been told its now part of the regs too supply the zappi with and rcd/rcbo protected circuit that switches both live and neutral conductors! Even though the zappi has built on type a and pen fault its not compliant as the built in rcd is on a circuit board
