Police killers get life sentences

Residents of Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape have welcomed the five life sentences handed down to each of the four men who had killed five police officers in 2018.
The convicted killers attacked and killed on duty officers at the Ngcobo Police station and took their firearms.
The attackers were members of the controversial Seven Angels Ministry Church which operated from Nyanga village near the town of Ngcobo.
The Eastern Cape High Court in Mthatha also sentenced the four men to additional sentences ranging between 25 and 40 years.
