I don't own a 3d printer, but I would have done the 4 quadrants in a jigsaw piece shape, to give it extra stability. If possible, the extra bits could follow the board lines, so that it doesn't show up on the board

I'm about to start building one with my dad. I've always been in touch with my darker side, and the lighter boards drive me nuts. I can actually respect anyone though who makes their own board. From the YouTube videos I've seen, they're hard to do.

Because that was one of my potential covid projects and one of the first steps was requiring a custom 3d printed goban. It's the only need for one I can think of =)

i just print my go boards onto an A4 but this works too :P

Could you possibly use heat and even distribution of weight to relieve the warping in the plastic?

Have you thought about using magnets to keep the boards togehter? Would be really nice if on the back would be a 9x9 so you can play a 19x19 or 4 9x9 simultaniously. :)

I just used a plank of wood and a sharpie for my boards lol, low tech solution

I’m guessing you are trying to create an AI go board that highlights the AI moves underneath the board.
