A bible tip I would offer is read small amounts vs big ones. Take a chapter a day, say John 1, read it in the morning. Pray about something that stood out, then read it again later in the day. Your life will change.

First waking up is the best! We should put our armor on at the beginning of the day, not the end.

I have struggled to read and learn the bible for years. I'm a truck driver and I get up at 2:30 am every morning so reading the bible at that time is a no go. The only time I have the time is before bed so I'm going to have to make it a habit to study at that time.

I've always contended with this because I'm a working mom and wife that gets up, helps hubby with our daily plans, heads to work, school drop offs, etc. I learned to let go of prop open the Bible right after I open my eyes. I pray when I get up, listen to Christian music for my morning errands, spend 10-15 minutes reading the Bible after my work day starts, and then listen to different sermon and theology things throughout the day.

I love doing my devotionals at night sometimes I read the Bible, listen to Christian music, or listen to Bible teachings or a lecture in the mornings or the afternoons.

Matthew 7:24
Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.

I'm just not a morning person. I do a lot of my reading and studying at night. Sometimes when I'm not working I do it in the afternoon. Usually depends. I've been taking my Bible with me to work and reading it on my breaks as well

I read my Daily Bread and The Scriptures for reading the Bible in a yr. It helps a lot.

Great information! Thank you! How ironic that i’m watching your video instead of reading my bible. 😂
Seriously though, thanks for this advice, if applied, it will change lives!

Thank You. I realized today that I needed a PLAN otherwise my day was wasted by haphazard efforts (well intentioned) that produced nothing. Thank you. God bless you.

100% agree on the “don’t bite off more than you can chew.” I have tried 3 or 4 years in a row to do a 1 year through the Bible & failed every time. Starting today I decided on short plans on the Bible app by the Bible Project so it also has the explanation videos with it. Breaking your no phone rule but I find listening to the Bible while I get ready for my day was the one part of the previous attempts that really worked well.
