I never understood what ugly means until I heard about this man's parents

All children deserve parents.
Not all parents deserve children.

Everybody keeps commenting on his birth parents and almost nobody talking about his adopted mother. Apparently this woman was akin to a saint because she obviously did a fantastic job raising him and giving him a proper perspective on life.

Spend 5 minutes with this man and you’ll understand what real beauty is.

Bless the woman who adopted him. See gave him more than a home.

Your parents abandoning you and then not wanting to meet you: It’s truly their loss.

What a wonderful young man. His adoptive mom must be so proud.

‘Both parents were horrified by the child’s appearance’
‘Both parents felt no maternal bond’
Imagine the pain he felt while hearing that. Nah mate, that’s fucked.

Let’s not draw attention to his birth parents; if anything we need to be applauding his adoptive mother for raising an outstanding man 👏 👏 👏

4:30 when he said "i never wanted to take my own life, but i wanted to be in a car accident" it hit me like a bunch of bricks. this man and i may have had entirely different life experiences but speaking as someone who has dealt with mental health issues his entire life, i fully understand that feeling. not wanting to attempt but wanting something accidental or sudden to happen to take your life. i can't even begin to imagine how he felt during this period of his life but it brings hope to myself seeing somebody openly express these feelings, overcome the dark thoughts and thrive regardless. this man is beautiful, inside and out, and i truly hope the absolute best for him in his life.

"The ultimate thing I want to share with my birth parents is that I am happy I am okay and I am healthy and I hope you are too" Legend!

His parents leaving him was such a gift. Would have been horrible to be raised and by unloving people.

Its really strange, but from the moment he opened his mouth, the timbre of his voice just exuded a warmth, depth, intelligence and humanity. Quite an exceptional young man, and I reckon we all wish him health and happiness. Whilst troubling in its' context, this is truly an uplifting video. Thanks for producing and thanks for posting. I'm going to show it to my young kids as a shining example of what REALLY counts in life!

i remember meeting him at a summit for foster children because i’m a child in care myself and he is honestly one of the most down to earth and remarkable human being i’ve ever met.

The kindest people are the one's who've been hurt the most because they don't want you to ever feel like they did.

When he talked about girls daring other girls to ask him out is absolutely heart wrenching.

Such a beautifil soul, being able to still forgive and understand your parents despite your right to be angry. I love hearing that you love your face in the end. Stay blessed and awesome!

I can see the strength in his eyes and hear the truths in his tone. His confidence is an inspiration.
