I know its a lazy Bethesda bashing video. But I mean come on, if they didn't want to make it so easy they could have written a better story for fallout 4. Anyway, if you need me I'll be yelling at kids to get off my lawn while playing new vegas.

I like that the speech options in New Vegas are actual ways of persuading people either through threats, bribes, secks, logic, manipulation, lies or emotional appeal, but by fallout 4 it's basically devolved into "Pretty please?"

The part that kills me is that the majority of the conflict/intrigue in the BoS storyline is about whether or not you should kill Danse, who himself is so chill about the whole thing that its obviously the game's idea of a morally incorrect decision to kill him. Just in case you didn't know, scribe Haylen proceeds to tell you how much of a dick you would have to be to execute Danse.
When I started the BoS questline I thought the conflict would be between two internal BoS factions, one that wanted to preserve some of the technology that was found in the Institute to help the Brotherhood against other enemies and one that thought it would be too dangerous to keep any of it, which would continue the series themes about the Brotherhood needing to grow to avoid dying out (F:NV), how internal strife would divide and weaken the Brotherhood far more than any external threats (Fallout 3), and how some research may be too dangerous to keep (F:NV - Vault 22/There Stands the Grass). Then there would be conflict between these two factions with Maxson at the head of the anti-Institute faction and you would have the option of: playing these factions against each other to weaken/destroy the Brotherhood, supporting the pro-Institute side by pushing Maxson to the extremes of his xenophobia and alienating the rest of the BoS who would then rally behind Danse, or supporting Maxson to the end/executing Danse and discovering further depths of Institute depravity that solidify your decision to burn it all down (probably finding synth Shaun). There could be a cool questline about how over time Danse would become more open to synths until eventually he would be fully pro-synth and could cause problems for a pro-Maxson player, etc.
I just wish they did more with it. The BoS storyline feels unfinished just like Nick Valentine being possessed by a dead Kellog.

MEANWHILE, BoS, FO4: "WE COME IN PEACE!" **flies an obvious warship through the sky, then spots some chill ghoul folks and a robot detective.** "...ABOMINATIONS!!!"
