Setting Up Before Driving - Seat and Mirrors

Here's a video on how to setup your stuff before driving. Adjusting the seat position, height, headrest position, seat back angle, and adjusting the central and side mirrors.

Give this man a ton of respect coz u learn so much just by watching his short and informative video. Especially the part on how to adjust your mirrors. I have watched other videos regarding mirror adjustment and i would say that 99% of the time, the instructor always ask you to lean all the way to the right which is the driver's side mirror to adjust and all the way to the left which is the passenger's side mirror or the center of the dashboard to adjust. As what he has mentioned, if u do that as i have stated and he stated, when getting back to yr original sitting position, the angle of yr mirrors will totally be different. If u follow his way, yr adjustment of mirrors will be perfect in terms of eliminating blindspots as well as getting a reference when parking. I mean think about it, when we look to our left or right, we r not going to look all the way to each side right? So, it is logical if we can see those sides clearly without the need of leaning to either sides. In regards to adjusting the mirrors, I hear a lot of people say that you should put your head close to the driver's side window and adjust the mirror to where you just see beyond the edge of your car and the same for the passenger side mirror while placing yourself over the center armrest. I think people recommend this to eliminate traditional blindspots while creating ones that are compensated with the rear-view mirror.

I just want to add: try to adjust side mirror so that when your face is pointed straight forward, and you cut your eyes to the side mirror, your vehicle is gone; but when you turn your chin 45 degrees to check the side mirror, a sliver of your car becomes visible (in all cases, sitting in your neutral position, as he showed).
This is a great way to increase its' usefulness (just move your chin to get that bit more of range.) It's also a great way to not be blinded by high beams guy behind you - keep your chin straight, and the beams don't quite hit your eyes. But if your rearview mirror becomes blocked, just turn that chin a little and the side mirrors will give you as much information of what's behind you as they possibly can.
