In this video, I talk to you about 5 things to do before starting your car. Many people simply hop into the driver's seat, start the engine, and begin to drive down the street. But there are a few things that you should do before you start your car! One of the most overlooked things to do is taking a walk around your car to make sure that there are no obstructions around your vehicle, and to ensure that all of your tires are properly inflated. It's also a good idea to check for any dents or scratches as you do a walkaround (this way you can narrow down the timeline in which they occurred)!

Taking walk around the car is something crucial to do. At times I have tried to take a walk around the car with focus to look even beneath it and around the tires (atleast satisfactorily ). It is important to make sure no one (including animals) can be troubled by the vehicle.
Unfortumately, this is something one might not find taken seriously even im the most disciplined areas because it does not seem compatible with the idea of a fast paced world.

#6, turn on the headlights if you're driving at night.

1. I always have to walk around the car because I have to open the folded side mirror or get stuff from the trunk in case there's not enough windshield wiper fluid or not enough antifreeze or if I need other stuff for later use or I have to clean the windows when it is dirty or blocks me from seeing from inside the car. 2. Adjust the seat next because my wife & I have a height difference. 3. Then, I put on my seatbelt. 4. After this, I adjust the mirrors. 5. Then, I must check if the night mode is off for the rearview mirror, if I'm driving during the day. 6. Then, I'll start the engine.

Another reason to listen as you start the engine is in case the accelerator is stuck. My mom had that happen back in the 70s, her Dodge Charger was flat out floored from start up and so she turned it off and called my uncle. Had she put it in gear she would have been killed.

1. Insert key

4. Turn the key to the "on" position
5. Start your vehicle

Voila. That's how you start your vehicle.
