Great update Alex. Thank you. Hidden costs are so upsetting. How you avoid that burning heat is one amazing feat. Anyone over aged 50, be warned of temperatures above 25C, UK Citizens.

That was packed with good advice. I think with insurance, especially health insurance, you always think you'll be fine & either don't declare pre-existing conditions, or maybe even forget something. It's like any insurance, it can seem costly, but we regularly see in the news, people who are caught out & can be left with extraordinary bills.

Great news on the heat! However I spoke to many staff members at the Tui Sensatori Biomar last year and they said it was a struggle in the hot weather for them and older people in Majorca

We paid 49 euros tourist tax last October for 5 nights so that’s about 3:30 per adult as you said and we were three adults. Good vid with good info very important to let people know. We didn’t know about the tourist tax. Your videos are very relative thanks

I have been looking at a potential bike hire during my holiday in October. I was surprised to see a couple of hirers mention their insurance didn’t include theft. They do often include locks but I should imagine these are basic locks you can cut in a second and wouldn’t normally be sufficient to get you insurance cover in the UK. I really don’t want to be responsible for hundreds of euros for a stolen bike. Not had time to look to see how this could be covered in another way yet.

We were I Alcudia in 2008/13/24/15 and always went all inclusive. But we only got the local beers and spirits. All branded beers and spirits were extra. So this is not a new thing. Keep up the good work Alex.

We stayed at Globales Santa Lucia in June and there were extra costs for sandwiches, drinks, ice creams etc. Not impressed at all

TUI SUNEO Santa Ponsa. Went all inclusive. But as you say the good branded drinks and more you have to pay extra. On the positive side is they let you know and give you a list. Place was great, air conditioning was a god sent.
