My school offers 14 but so many dont apply to me and i really only wanna tske APs for my passions or things that will help me in the future, so im taking 8 APs overall but also doing dual enrollment classes for less important things or things that arent in ap form ^^

This is what ive been telling people who want to take all advanced classes because im going to be a freshman next year and the only two advanced classes im taking out of the 4 i can take are geometry and physics

I wish I could take a lot but my high school has a weird 4 period block schedule that switched every semester, and most of the AP classes are a full two semesters so I can’t take many even though my school offers 27. Additionally, the ones for Freshman and Sophomore years were filled up by upperclassman, we we pretty much didn’t get to take any until junior year :(

i took had only taken one ap when i was admitted to a 7% school

granted i did score a 5 and my school's options were limited, i also took another 2 more senior year and had a perfect gpa and took the hardest classes my school offered

universities are more understanding of this than you think :)

can someone explain why getting an A in an honors level class is better than a B or C in an AP course?
