Flex Test: Does Disconnecting the Rear Sway Bar Increase Articulation?

Super simple video seeing how much droop travel I would gain by disconnecting my rear sway bar. Enough for me to want to make quick disonnects for those days on trail where the rear end wants to play.

I will say, driving on-road with the 2500 and no swaybar wasn't great. Really wag happy and feels like a boat. And for the popping noises.. its from binding. Go radius arms!

First pop was body mount, second pop driver lower radius arm bolt where it meets the axle.

Connected: 35.75"
Disconnected: 36.5"
0.75" more travel 😐

I take the sway bars off every truck I’ve ever owned. Chevy dodge and ford. Even a suburban.

I think a really interesting test that people should do is see if disconnecting your sway bar reduces your diagonal clearance. I think it will.

It's a shame that the stock suspension geometry is trash and binds so you barely get any flex. But there not meant for crawling so makes sense.
