The iPhone 16 Has a BIG Problem

The iPhone 16 has a serious problem! 📱🔴

If you press the Camera Control, the screen stops working… And trust me, it’s very easy to press it by accident. 😓 Apple, what’s going on here? 🤔

I have three iPhones, and all of them have this issue.

One thing is accidentally pressing the button—which can happen or not. But it's a completely different matter to give Apple a pass for this bug on their new button.

It’s funny because a few days ago, another YouTuber called it out, and while testing it, found the issue himself. Then he changed his argument.

You can argue that pressing and scrolling might not be common, but calling me a liar for showing a problem that occurs on all three of my iPhones seems disingenuous.

My camera button is not easy to press at all on the 16 pro max, it’s a lot harder to press than any of the other buttons on the phone cause it’s not a raised button, I have not once opened it by accident this is definitely a non issue for me at least.

The problem it's not because you're pressing the camera button, it's because a little part of your hand it's touching the screen. The phone will not respond for every touch it gets from your fingers because some of them might be accidental. Since the new iPhone 16 has a more narrow bezel compared to other iPhones and the iOS 18 is having some issues (like every other iOS version that just arrived), the problem is: this part of your hand is being recognized and since your hand stays on the same position for a long period, iPhone will give more attention and think it's more important than others, so it's going to ignore other gestures you make on the screen. That means that IS a software issue

Okay guys, when you hover over the button it does nothing. You have to press on it and it is a lot harder to actually press on the button than any other button, but when you do it activates the camera which is why the phone doesn’t work: you are opening up the camera. it is not meant to be held down and still use your phone, it is supposed to be held down and open an app: the camera. i got a case and i’ve never seen this issue.

hmm i’m not sure i’ve seen anyone complain about this yet. i’ve had a 16 plus for a minute and haven’t hit it accidentally once yet. never even thought it to be a problem. and i work outside/driving so im moving around constantly. must be a him problem

Can be changed in the settings, the button is activated after pressing twice

This video is cap. The capture button has pretty good palm rejection. Unless you press that part of the phone really hard. It’s not going to work. Also getting a case helps with the situation as well which majority of people have a case for their phones anyways

When you accidentally press the button while the pocket they don’t want other apps to open that’s why they kept the screen inactive. Preventing the fantom apps operations and battery draining

I press and hold the button, and when i tapped the comments, it was still responsive.

Makes sense coz that way you will know that you are holding the camera button and obviously you don’t use camera while navigating the screen so I like it

Like a new car all new products will have something wrong with it that is why you make a case to the company so they can fix it.
