Why the iPhone 16 Plus is Pro Enough!

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus might just very well be the best base model iPhone that Apple's ever released. With the new A18 chip, Action Button and new Camera Control button on these base model iPhones, I think that these base model iPhones are "Pro" enough and with the improved camera system with upgraded Photographic Styles, I think you'll all like this too. Would you pick this up?

My mother upgraded her phone to the new iPhone 16+ from her iPhone Xs Max. I have an iPhone 15 Pro 256GB variant from last year and I have to say that it is a pretty good looking phone and not to add how light it is. The 60hz definitely not really as poor as people in the tech community make it out to be and I’d even have the refresh rate disable on my device to 60Hz from time to time to save power. Also, not to mention how much bigger the size of the CAMERA bump compared to the XS Max.

The regular iPhone is the one everyone should buy every year. It drives me mad seeing people who you can see are NOT techies using a Pro. They literally have no idea how to use the extra features, and have no need for vlog, RAW etc

It's just about status, which is always a bad idea.

I’ve only had my 16 plus for a couple days now but I did upgrade from a 13 that finally died after a year of life support and I love it. It’s honestly similar to my 13 just obviously bigger screen, way better battery life and the screen not freezing up or lagging is a huge plus. I don’t rlly care much for the cameras on phones in general cos I use handheld cameras but the camera button is a nice touch !

I got the 16 plus in ultramarine. I absolutely love it and it is noticeably lighter than the 13 Pro Max I traded in for it. Apple gave me 400 bucks in trade. Happy as hell.

I get that people rush to comment it’s 60Hz when watching a video for a phone they’d never buy. Not to mention it’s not geared to them. There were over 500 phones released last year on Android. Apple released 4. So why on God’s green earth would they put 120Hz on their base model, which would essentially ruin sales for their pro line? Their customers clearly don’t care

I just upgraded a few days ago from a sierra blue 13 pro 256gb to a white 16 plus 512gb. On the daily I watch YouTube and scroll on Reddit. For work I type notes on my phone. So far I’m in love. I don’t and wouldn’t utilize the pros amazing camera, I dont transfer files, also don’t care about refresh rate or the razor thin bezels on the 16 pro. I wanted a bigger screen than my 13 pro and didn’t wanna spend the extra again on shit I don’t even use. It’s lighter and thinner than my 13 pro and I <3 that. if you don’t care about the premium aspects of the pro I feel it’s a great option.

Enjoyed your video. I ordered an iPh16 Plus ( largest screen) and its backordered 3 weeks ( in white 128 gb model) retail price $1315.00. I have not had a new phone for 6 or 7 years and this is my first Apple iPh. My others were Android Googles. Look forward to trying the iPhone product.

I need 120hz my eyes can’t go back to 60hz. If the plus was 120, then yes, it would be worth it.

I thought, "Exactly!" I looked forward to buying an iPhone 16 Plus because it was similar to my current LG Velvet 5G (yes, I am switching from an Android to an iPhone) in screen size. However, I didn't want the 16 Pro Max because it leaned towards too big for my small hands, plus I didn't need the extra Pro features like that 120hz ProMotion display. However, my mom is begging me to get the Pro Max, I was like, "No way am I getting the Pro Max! It's way too big and out of budget!" How should I convince her and the family that the Plus is better than the Pro Max?
