Is Katz Delicatessen worth the hype? After trying their famous pastrami sandwich, we found the meal to be a bit of an effort—just meat and bread with little to complement it. I had the honor and pleasure of finally visiting Katz Diner this past Christmas. While the pastrami sandwiches are good, I must agree with these two individuals' sentiments. It's a bit of a rip off. But, given how bloody packed the place was, the price is absolutely a symptom of the demand.

That sandwich looked hungry. Smallest Katz sandwich I've ever seen.

Keeping it real, £24 for a sandwich madness

The only people praising after eating Katz are influencers who are too scared to tell the truth.

We don't even go near Katz Deli, the taste is so bland and you pay a lot.

It does take a whole lot of time to make (Brisket) Pastrami… that… coupled with New Yorks ridiculously cost of livening… makes that sandwich look expensive. You’re actually paying for everything else. Unfortunately.
