I had to have a molar removed before having certain medical treatment and I had nerve pain for 5 weeks. I thought it was never going to go.

Inferior alveolar it's a branch of posterior trunk of which is in turn a branch of mandibular never, it passes through mandibular foramen and exits through mental foramen in association with inferior alveolar artery

I had major jaw surgery and the nerve never healed right. My bottom teeth in the front left (like 5 teeth) are permanently numb. So are my upper gums, and a spot on my bottom lip.
