This has been haunting me all week. Jimmy turning at the end is his "I won" moment.

One thing which I don't see people talking about:
Right out of the gate, Jimmy comments on how "that one asshole actually had tears in his eyes". Did anyone notice/remember, that during one of the cutaways, Kim got really emotional, and wiped away a small little tear from her eyes. He pretty much insulted her for even thinking and feeling like he was being sincere.

She bought it. They bought it. We bought it.

"It's all good, man!"

That moment Jimmy calls that woman "sweetheart" - Such a sleazy Saul tone. Bob has done such an amazing job with this character.

His posture, his hand and body movements, even the way he speaks to the woman all just scream *Saul Goodman*

I find this moment eerily similar to Walter's "I won" moment in Breaking Bad because of how both Saul and Walter totally embraced their darker sides and also how Kim's shocked reaction to what her man has become is similar to Skylar's. The Breaking Bad universe is all about character transformation, and they absolutely nailed it.

Is it weird that I think this is the darkest moment in the show so far?

Damn I love that drop in the end. Anybody else noticed he also now for the forst time refered to a stranger as sweetheart? His tranformation seems complete

Since the beginning of the series I already wanted to see Saul Goodman. But watching this last scene broke my heart, because officially Jimmy McGill is dead. And I know that for the fifth season I'm going to miss Jimmy a lot.

I admit it: even I had the same reaction of Kim... Thanks to the creators for gracing us with this gem of a show :-)

Jimmy was rejected because they thought he was insincere. But instead of being more sincere, he tries to improve his insincerity to make it more convincing.

Saul Goodman has been born.

God, the actual physical turn that Odenkirk makes here before delivering the final lines is so unnerving. It's quick but notice how he pivots his head/body while keeping his face in a fixed position. It's a true monster movie moment.

The scholarship interviews was the last nail in the coffin for Jimmy. He saw himself in that girl that got rejected...and when the board rejected her....it broke him and ultimately lead to the murder of Jimmy...and birth of Saul. What an amazing series!

One thing I noticed that was a subtle change was Jimmy called the woman on the review board sweetheart. Jimmy doesn't call women sweetheart or honey like that. But Saul does. I like that they added that in

What a powerful moment. Felt like Jimmy's whole story this season was leading up to that last line.

Saul: Now, say my name...

Kim: Saul Goodman.

Saul: You're god dammed right!

More and more I'm thinking it will be Jimmy leaving Kim rather than the other way round.

Hey Gilligan...give us the show we all want. Walter White Junior's transformation from Walt Jr to that monster Flynn. AMC, just think of the breakfast cereal advertising dollars.

This could've been the last scene of the entire series

I just can't believe the legendary acting performance that Bob Odenkirk gave, the soft transformation in these past three seasons to suddenly a full hardcore glimpse of Saul Goodman. I can finally say BetterCallSaul achieved the same if not more level than Breaking Bad.
