Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

I love how 'Bad Choice Road' in season 5 had a callback to this montage with the split screen with a melody of this song, only they long to get back to each other instead of growing apart.

This is my favorite montage in the show, it shows how the months go by for the lives of Kim and Jim, how they’re living through the same life of being lawyers but doing it through different paths of law. The song itself means how they’ve done something stupid. How they love each other but never admit it. In fact the moment Jim says it, it falls apart

We started the series wondering why Saul never mentioned Kim, as it progressed, I wondered even more, but during the final season, it became clear.The final scene was something that I wished and hoped for. Hoped that future Kim would visit future Gene and they would somehow reconnect. I cried like a baby as I watched it over and over
