Another tip that I don't see covered anywhere is to make sure your controller mic is set to mute if you want the full trigger effect. Having the mic on automatically sets the haptics to standard as opposed to the strong setting.

17:44 if you happen to have TWO PS5s this also allows you to play together in multiplayer — with one game license. THATs something few people know! Even better — if it happens to be a cross-gen PS4/PS5 game, and you have 2 PS4s (or a ps4 and a psPro) — you can have 4 players playing together on a single license (depending on the game — not all games will work depending on how they set up licenses)!

You never mentioned controlling when your console takes screenshots and video when popping trophies. Go to Settings > Captures and Broadcasts > Auto-Captures > Trophies, then you can set what trophy types take screenshots and video, along with the video length. I personally have it set to take screen caps for silver and higher and video for gold and higher.
It’s a must have setting to save ssd space from every bronze trophy you’ll get.

Something to note is you can also set your profile to turn the controller mic off by default every time you log in.

What I love about the PS5. As soon as you cut it on. Select your profile it gives you the option before even signing in if you want to go offline.

The mute button on the controller itself is my favorite PS5 feature. Some headsets don't have a mute button, and even the ones that do require you to take your hand off the controller to press it, so I am constantly using it
