Fact check: if Al Lewis was born in 1923, Yvonne De Carlo in 1922 and Fred Gwynne in 1926 he was younger not older as the narrator stated

Great video, I didn’t know several of the facts. I grew up with the monsters’ tv show too. Nice memories 😊

This would be so much better without the 'music'.

Mel Blanc was discovered by accident. He spent two years hanging out outside of the studio in hopes if becoming an extra. His opportunity made him a legend. He was with Jack Benny's radio and TV programs playing all kinds of characters. His most famous is "tge crying cab driver" where he lets people off a block from the airport/station because he hated saying goodbye and cried the entire time.

Grandpa was Lily’s father, and therefore not a “Munster.” He was sometimes referred to as Vladimir Dracula, according to Wikipedia. Likewise, Marilyn was not a “Munster.” She was Lily’s sister’s daughter, making her Lily’s niece.

Despite the production limitations, this is a extremely well sourced and informative video. Thanks

The Black and white worked much better than the color. All of the facial shadows work better. Frankenstein was B/W. Maybe it's just what our minds are expecting.

Okay, just hold up a moment. When talking about age differences, Yvonne DeCarlo born 1922, one year older than Al Lewis, born 1923. Then, video says Fred Gwynn older because he was born in 1926??

I was 9 years old when this first came on the air. When Batman first came on the air I still preferred the Munsters.

His family actually had the set for Frankenstein's Lab in storage and loaned it to the studio when they filmed Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein they had to duplicate a few bits here and there but most of the sets were stored and had waited for all those years....

while I like The Munster behind the happy and loving family there is a cruelty of the way they treat Marilyn and outsiders you don't see in The Addams Family who welcomes everyone.

it's a shame that the captions contain so many incorrect words and misspellings...
