Those who say they believe in Jesus but don't trust in Him for salvation but their good works are the lukewarm Christians from Revelation 3. They also are like somebody who has knowledge parachute can save them but when they jump out, they never opened it, they just had it on their back.
Bible is so bold and clear about how we are saved that even a 5 year old would clearly understand.

Yes. But if you don't produce good works your faith is nothing. Works are a byproduct of your faith. We are only saved by God's mercy and compassion. Works are just a testament to that.

I counted about every faith alone passages, and there are more than 2 Dozen.
Jesus is Lord, He paid for our sins on the Cross and Rose again defeating death and sin forever!

Amen, sir! The church fathers are not infallible. They disagree with each other and sometimes even with themselves: see “Retractions” by St. Augustine. But The Scriptures are God-breathed, and therefore, infallible.

“Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness” - is actually quoted 3 times in the New Testament. Once in James 2, once in Romans 4 as you explained, but also in Galatians 3:6, where Paul nails home that we are saved by faith alone, and that “all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.’”

The bible is so clear! Glory to God we are saved without our works or we would all be doomed! It's Christ alone and that is enough. Now I live for Christ for he has saved me.
