You are so helpful. Working on correct wrist movement now and your explanation is great. Teacher wanting me to get bow into the string. Work on that tone. Once i did that in our last lesson intonation improved. Big thank you!

You inspired me to return to the mirror AND, create a better angle! Wow!………it really helps to see my bowing square to the fingerboard! I definitively got sloppy! Can’t recommend it enough! So THANK you!!!!

There is enough nurses OCD left over, to use a scouring pad on my Larsens, which at 187 pounds sterling are as expensive as gold and I use Melos sticky.

BBC Radio 3 is on near damn 24\7. It is our classical music station and there are concerts in the afternoon and evening, sometimes live and opera at the weekend. Well worth a listen to.

I use a Go Pro on my music stand periodically to check on both the left and right hand side that the mirror doesn't pick up.

You're such a great teacher. I'm an adult learner who's had a year's worth of weekly lessons. Well worth it! But I have to economize and either cut back to once a month, or go on my own. I'm so grateful for your generosity in being their for us. It gives me hope that I can keep learning and advancing and doing so in a way that promotes proper technique. I'm guilty of plowing through a piece-from start to finish-and at too fast a pace (sans metronome). I'm trying to correct that. I'm definitely still in first position. I'm curious though, if I did want to *explore* moving up the fingerboard, where would you recommend going? (I'm attracted to fourth position as my next chunk of learning.) Do you think it ill-advised to move from first to fourth in my learning sequence?

I have a question about bow hair: I have recently had my bow hair changed. The hairs on my bow kept breaking, and it left all the rosin on the strings. But now, with new Mongolian hair, it still leaves a large amount of rosin on the strings. Why?

Can you do a video on up-bow spicatto? Im having difficulty increasing my tempo on Schroeder etude #40 without accidentally slurring them together!
