The Centre told the Supreme Court on Monday that the provisions of the sedition law (Section 124A) will be re-examined and reconsidered.

On Monday, the government also asked the court not to consider the petitions challenging the colonial law and to wait for the reconsideration exercise to be conducted by the Centre.

Make changes in sedition law in that it should be included corruption of public money, terrorism against country which is direct war with some political party .

There must be flexibilty with the sedition law that has been rigid, tightening the noose is harsh as other laws assosiated with seditious acts are equally punishing as applied in haste as the case .merits it.
