Yep, American Farm Bureau says we need 1.5 million to 2 million workers. Farmers have to pay for ads to try to hire local workers. The local people are not taking the jobs. Farmers have to pay a penalty for H2A workers.

He does not know how tariffs work. That is why he had to pay farmers $28B when China stopped buying US grain.

That's not how tarrifs works. If I import as a US business an item which costs $1, 000 and there is 25% tarrif on it, I will have to pay $250 customs tarrif in order for my product to be release from customs. If I was planning to make 10% profit and sell the item with $1, 100 now I will sell it with $1250 + 10% = $1, 375 to the final consumer. The country which is tarrifed is US and not the manufacturer country.
