I match anything my daughter/son save up to $100. When my daughter turned 8 years old, she negotiated a deal where the match goes up by $50 every year until she turns 18.

That's a $600 match by the end + Daddy bank pays 4% interest. The catch is that anything saved with Mom and Dad stays saved until they turn 18 with some potential exceptions. That could turn into 10k by the time they graduate. 😅

This is great 👍!! I'm in a no-spend year. I have been for the last 3 years. It's out of necessity. (Long, poor health story...) I have no desire to spend now. When I need something, I go instantly to what I already have that I can use. It's changed my whole perspective. I'm a lot happier without having to make decisions about spending or shopping. My life's a lot simpler...less stress. 😊
