It's a funny thought that the 50th, while having lots of fan service, was mostly about the Time War, where the Christmas episode dealt with everything addressed in this trailer.

The thing I love the most about the Doctor is his long past. The fact we know him for more than 50 years and still we know pretty much nothing about him. He doesn't want to talk about his childhood, his parents, his children, his Gallifreyan friends, his entire past. Even his companions don't know what happened, not even the things that happened in the old series, he simply doesn't to talk about it. That's what I love the most!
