Here in the Seattle area, we are waiting for our own big one. It last happened in 1700 and was estimated to be a 9.2. When it ruptures it will create the worst disaster in US history. Some even say that the Jaun de Fuca fault could also trigger the San Addes Falt. Fun times are ahead for us.
