Donald J. Trump is the 45th President of the United States and is now running for a second term. In June 2015, Trump announced his candidacy for the 2016 presidential election as a Republican. Unlike the politicians before him, President Trump had a unique style and message that energized the American public. His appeal to many Americans stemmed from his status as a political outsider and his portrayal as a break from traditional career politicians.

During and after his presidency, Trump faced significant opposition and controversy from the establishment, including two impeachments by the House of Representatives—first in 2019 over abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, and again in 2021 over incitement of insurrection related to the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. He was acquitted by the Senate in both cases. Most recently, there was an attempt on his life when a gunman opened fire during a rally in Pennsylvania, wounding the President and two spectators, and killing one supporter.

Today, President Trump is running on a platform dedicated to strong border and immigration policies, lowering taxes and inflation, achieving energy independence, and ending the weaponization of the media and government agencies. In this episode of SRS, Shawn met with the President in Las Vegas to discuss his vision for the future and how he intends to "make America great again."

My grandpa served in vietnam and wasn't getting VA help with parkinsons for 8 years because of obamas VA. Trump came in office, and he got everything he needed and wanted up until his last day. His funeral was paid for, they tranferred him to 3 different hospitals, all hospice care, wheelchair ramps around the house, everything was all paid for. The 400k vets who passed away because obama "couldn't help them" hit different.

He had parkinsons for 20 years..

As a Navy Seal I’m hoping you might shed light on the other disaster at the Tijuana border. 50 million gallons of raw, untreated, industrial toxic sewage is being pumping into the Pacific Ocean just 3 miles from the Navy training facility. The biggest takeaway is when asked about climate change he said the biggest risk is nuclear weaponry and it’s destruction to the earth, I have never heard a politician mention this

In case anyone forgot, Cuba dumped their inmates on us in the 70s. Michigan National Guard provided guard duties while they were relocated to Arkansas. They eventually were later dispersed into the country. 30 years later one of them killed someone close to me. We need to shut these borders.

I was a federal contractor when the pandemic hit. As a 1099 employee, we didn’t get unemployment UNTIL Trump recognized this need and made it possible for people who contract with the federal government (like some court reporters) to get the same benefits as everyone else. Saved my family in a desperate time.

Im an Army veteran 11-C. When I got out and went home to Detroit, I worked for FCA Chrysler building Ram Trucks. They were closing my plant and sending our truck to be produced in Mexico, causing 1000s to lose our jobs.

Despite all the media lies telling me this man hates me and folks who look like me, I saw thru the BS and voted for 45. His America 1st policies stopped the move and saved my job. This man literally helped me and many other UAW brothers and sisters feed our families!
