It kills me that she says when she is president that she is going to make gas and groceries cheaper and cut taxes. She has been in the position to change all of that for the past 4 years and hasn't done it yet, why do people think she will now?

There seems to be some confusion here. Harris was talking about Trump's plan (he said it) of raising tariffs on imported goods. Economists have said this would raise prices and this cost Americans a lot more for usual items.

Trump characterizes what she said and plays dumb, but the fact is that he DOES want to do a tax (tariff) on imported goods and it's a fact that it will raise prices for those items.

This is only one of many examples of areas that Trump either lies or tells half truths and then he acts like they are the liars.
