Treasurer Jim Chalmers 'denies' billions in tax cuts will cause inflation

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell discusses Labor’s cost of living relief which comes into effect today.

“The tax cuts, $23 billion into the economy, but the Treasurer denies that they will cause inflation.” Mr Clennell said.

“That forecast, which everyone was hoping would lead to a rate cut at the end of the year or early next year, is looking very rubbery, and even Jim Chalmers knows that.”

Tax cuts don't cause inflation, printing endless amounts of money does and that will replace the tax loses!

Payman should remember that she is in parliament to represent the best interests of the people of Western Australia and not her own interests. I doubt whether the middle east conflict is front and centre in the minds of all Western Australians (and the rest of the country for that matter). If she wants to make this an issue, she should resign from her senate seat and run as an independent on this issue.
