They are not well know to tourist, but one of the saddest parts, I found, about Hiroshima were the shadows. There are places were you can see the shadow of where a person was when the bomb went off. Because their body shielded the ground from the intense heat and light it left a permanent outline of their body in the concrete.

its kind of crazy to think of the nuclear technology used 70 years ago, think of how much technology has advanced in 70 years. Now think how much a nuclear bomb has advanced since then...scary :o

The song at 09:09 is called the lost one's weeping, if you were wondering, and is sung by Hatsune Miku.

I had a friend in my senior year of high school who was born in Hiroshima and when she was telling us about herself in my world issues class she talked about the memorial there and that building or what was left from it standing. It's scary to see the devastation that those bombs did to innocent people.

Japan looks very nice, it looks fun to explore ^ w ^.

Thanks for touring around Hiroshima. I'm a grad student in Japan Studies at the University of Washington, currently writing a term paper on World War II, the American Occupation (1945-1952), and propaganda, so it was nice to see your tour. You mentioned that Japan is one of the most peaceful nations in the world (which is true). What you may not know (or maybe you do) is that the U.S. wrote Japan's constitution over a span of six days in 1946. We put in an anti-war clause (Article 9), disallowed them from having a military, etc. Its all pretty interesting. I've enjoyed your videos for a while now, so let me know if u ever wanna chat about it.

That's so amazing, I'm glad I watched this video. I've always learned about the bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki in school, but I never really had the chance to see real footage of where it occurred! Thanks for sharing!!

In Japan the people who drive the trains have their timetables written with not only minutes but with seconds so they don't get the time wrong
