Thank you I needed this video for... a project. Nothing to worry about

It’s pretty scary how splitting apart the tiniest particles of matter and/or slamming into each other can release so much energy. The fact that a single device could level an entire city in a matter of seconds is also pretty scary.

This Minecraft Redstone tutorial is surprisingly realistic.

11:09. I like the subtle use of the slide-whistle when talking about the destruction of Earth and human civilization... It was a nice touch

2 aliens are talking in outer space, looking down on Earth.
"It seems the inhabitants of planet Earth have created nuclear technology and missiles" says one alien
"are they showing signs of intelligence?" asks the other
"I dont think so. They seem to be aiming at themselves"

you should point out that almost all blast power comes from nuclear fission. The hydrogen fusion stage is mainly there to generate more neutrons as the atoms fuse, this in turn causes a higher % of uranium to undergo fission. This is why hydrogen and its isotopes are very challenging as a choice of fusion fuel for reactors.

It’s beautiful in a way, all that potential from a single atom splitting. It’s like the Big Bang but “miniaturized”, everything from nothing in an instant.

I've read that nukes are detonated at high altitudes to maximize their blast radius (causing much more destruction) and minimize the fallout. So, the radiation effects should be minimal.

when the ratio of protons to ELECTRONS is the same, the atom is neutrally charged. Neutrons are responsible, mostly, for holding the nucleus together and, ironically, for splitting atoms in fission. They also have no charge. Hence why they are called "neu"-trons because they are neutrally charged.
